At Stoney Creek Canopy Adventures, you’ll experience all of the true beauty and adventure that Alaska is famous for. Each summer, we employ approximately 20 team members to fill our Zipline Guide, Office Staff and Driver positions in Seward Alaska.

Training begins mid May, and tours operate late May through September. An ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, customer service oriented and possesses a great attitude. Every team member works directly with our customers, and represents Stoney Creek Canopy Adventures.

Current Positions Available

ZIPLINE GUIDE
  • Must have a working knowledge of course components and course gear and be comfortable working at heights.
  • Responsible for overseeing the progress of an assigned group. Supervises the work of any sweep Guide or Guide Trainee assigned to the group / Sweep guide – Responsible for assisting the Lead Guide in supervising the progress of an assigned participant group.
  • Must be able to conduct a complete inspection of all course components and of all course gear.
  • Must be able to fit harnesses and helmets correctly and to supervise the use of all personal safety equipment.
  • Must be able to lead a Participant Orientation Session and conduct a proper screening of course applicants / Sweep guide – will assist in this procedure.
  • Must be able to set up and conduct a course rescue takedown from any point on the course within a set time limit, using the contents of an Emergency Takedown Kit.
  • Guides are expected to keep their skills/certifications current through active guiding and ongoing skills development sessions.
  • Lead guides must be able to openly express concerns and/or ideas to course manager & general manager.
OFFICE STAFF
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times.
  • Assists customers, travel agents and tour operators in person, in a positive manner, via phone, fax, and email with information about tours, services and options, including prices, times, and general tour information.
  • Assists with product sales promotion to customers.
  • Accurately completes reservations on computer-based reservations system.
  • Responsible for daily accounting reports and a balanced till at the end of each shift, including collection of all vouchers.
  • Ensures customers are sent necessary product and reservation documents in a timely manner.
  • Complete and maintain paperwork as it relates to vouchers and gift certificates.
  • Works with supervisors/managers to effectively resolve customer complaints and issues.
  • Performs other duties as are appropriate and as assigned.
DRIVER
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times.
  • Complete and maintain driver daily paperwork.
  • Works with supervisors/managers to effectively resolve customer complaints and issues.
  • Performs other duties as are appropriate and as assigned.
  • Must have clean driving record and must have completed Denali Zipline Tour’s driver release form.
  • Ensure guests make it to and from the course in a safe and timely manner.
  • Keep company vehicles in clean and in running order.
  • Be able to screen guests for tours.
